Pewamo-Westphalia Community
School District includes the agricultural communities of Pewamo, Matherton, and
Westphalia, and is located on 75 square miles of farmland in Clinton and Ionia
Counties. Its location, just northwest of Lansing and east of Grand
Rapids, provides the significant cultural and recreational advantages found in these
metropolitan areas. P-W has a long
history of success in academics, athletics, and fine arts for all students.
The community embraces a high quality of life and is very supportive of its
schools.

The Mission of Pewamo-Westphalia Community Schools is to equip all Students
with the knowledge, skills and motivation that enables them to direct their own
lives and to contribute to a changing global community by providing a variety of
learning experiences in a partnership with the community to meet each student's
needs as defined by his or her education goals.
